Implant
Dental Implant is a screw system made of titanium that is surgically placed in the jawbone. It is the most successful method used as an alternative to the natural tooth root.
Titanium integrates into the bone (melts) and creates a solid foundation for the crown tooth to be placed on it. At the end of the healing process, the tooth loss in the region is restored with the crown tooth placed on the implant.
In cases of tooth loss, it has an aesthetic that cannot be distinguished from natural teeth, since it can be applied to the missing area without receiving support from neighboring teeth. The success rate of implant treatments is positively affected by specialist physicians in the field. Because correct diagnosis and treatment extends the life of the implant.
Immediate Implant (Same Day Implant Treatment)
In implant treatments, if there is a tooth that needs to be extracted in the area where the implant will be placed, a certain period of time is needed to wait for healing after the extraction. However, with the developing technology, the application of implants can be carried out in the session where the tooth is extracted.
If there is no acute infection in the tooth to be extracted and the bone structure and density are sufficient, it can be applied to almost everyone. The right technique is possible only when applied by an experienced physician, with the right indication. The changes developed in the designs of implant surfaces allow the implant to connect with the bone in a much shorter time. Thus, both the aesthetic and functional needs of the patients are met in a much shorter time.
All on four implant technique
In jaws that have been used completely without teeth for a long time, bone loss occurs due to toothlessness. Bone loss in the upper jaw, together with the sagging of the sinus cavities, makes implant application difficult. Similarly, bone loss in the lower jaw comes very close to the area where the nerve passing through the lower jaw is located and implant applications can be risky. With the All on four technique, implants are placed at various angles and thus anatomical formations that may cause problems are eliminated. The patient’s toothlessness problem is eliminated with four implants. Since a small number of implants are applied and no additional surgical intervention is required, the cost is low.
Sinus Lifting
The sinus cavity in the upper jaw is an anatomical structure. These air-filled cavities sag downwards in some cases. For such reasons, the amount of bone in our upper jaw decreases.
When a removable prosthesis is not desired or an implant is required due to tooth loss, bone insufficiency here prevents implant applications. With the sinus lift technique, the sinus floor is lifted to some extent with surgical applications. In this way, the necessary volume is provided for the implant to be applied.
